Terms of Service

Tally is a tool for running the business side of creator work. You pay a subscription, your records stay yours, and either of us can end the arrangement. The rest of this page says that more carefully. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

You need an account to use Tally, and you need to be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us.

You can cancel at any time, and there are no cancellation fees. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. After that your records stay readable, but you cannot add to them until you subscribe again. Payments already made are not refunded for unused time, except where the law requires it.

Everything you enter, import, or attach in Tally is yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only so Tally can work for you. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models. You can export your records or delete your account from inside the app at any time. How we handle your data is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Do not use Tally to break the law, do not try to get into anyone else’s account or data, do not interfere with the service or probe it for weaknesses without our permission, and do not resell it. We can suspend or close an account that does any of these.

Tally helps you keep track of your business. Its tax estimates, income totals, mileage figures, and reminders are tools for staying organized. They are not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and they are only as accurate as the information entered. Check anything important with a qualified professional. Tally is not a party to your agreements with brands and is not responsible for whether a brand pays you.

The Importer Tool reads files you choose to upload and turns them into records. It is available once your paid subscription begins. Review what it produces. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you keep.

We work to keep Tally running and your records safe, but we do not promise the service will never be interrupted or free of errors. We add, change, and sometimes remove features. If we ever shut Tally down, we will give you notice and a way to export your records first.

Tally is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, missed payments, or missed deadlines, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Tally and delete your account whenever you like. We can close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Tally after that means you accept the new terms.
